Jim Wrolson Bio

Mr. Wrolson joined WP Global full-time in 2020. He began working with WP Global in 2012 as an IT Consultant with HyperX Systems LLC. He is responsible for all items related to the IT infrastructure of WP Global including overseeing network support, determining business requirements for IT systems, assisting WP Global staff during due diligence meetings, minimizing IT security risks, and assisting portfolio companies with their IT needs. Mr. Wrolson started his IT career in 1997 and has worked with various firms including Apple. In 2003, he was recruited to Best Buy, through a partnership between Best Buy and Apple, where he helped strategically plan and deploy one of the first ‘Geek Squads’ to the Chicago market. Mr. Wrolson has several certificates in IT Security including VMware, C+, and Network+. He has a B.S. in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University.
