Jason Sowers Bio

Jason Sowers joined Winona Capital in 2008, bringing entrepreneurial and private equity experience to the firm. Prior to Winona, Jason was part of KPMG’s Global Strategic and Commercial Intelligence group (SCI) where he advised corporate and private equity clients on over 15 M&A transactions ranging in value from $50 million to $13 billion. Previously, he held various roles at Portage Venture Partners and Momentum Capital. A cum laude graduate from Amherst College with a degree in computer science and economics, Jason earned his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business where he focused on finance, accounting and entrepreneurship. He also learned how to make a mean French baguette – no joke. Jason currently serves on the boards of Ancora, Evereve, I and love and you, and Incredible Foods, and formerly served on the boards of Dragon Alliance, Fusion Education Group, and Petsense.
