Richard Williams Bio

Rick co-founded WestView Capital in 2004 with Carlo von Schroeter and has been a private equity investor in growth companies since 1990. During this time, Rick has led investments and served as a board member at more than 35 companies in the technology services, software and business services sectors. Prior to co-founding WestView, Rick was a Partner in the private equity group of Tudor Investment Corporation, a global asset manager with more than $10 billion in capital. Prior to Tudor, he was a Managing Director of Triumph Capital Group, a Boston-based private equity firm. Rick began his career as an Associate in the Investment Banking group of Drexel Burnham Lambert. Rick received a BS degree in Computer Science from Yale University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Rick invests in the IT services, software and business services sectors.
