James Wakefield Bio

James co-founded WestBridge in 2008, and chairs the business and the investment committee and is involved in the investor relations activities. He is also involved in originating investment opportunities in the North East and South Coast regions. James has worked in the private equity industry for over 35 years at WestBridge and Bridgepoint, where he ran two regional offices and was originally a member of the London based transaction team. Prior to this, he worked for NatWest Investment Bank. James currently sits on the board of Wilcomatic, DB Pixelhouse and Acuity Care Group (formerly Bespoke), is an alternate director of Smart Capital Technology and was previously on the boards of the realised investments, AJM Healthcare and Vista Technology Support Group.
