Daniel Shapiro Bio

Dr. Daniel Shapiro is Principal at Waterland in Hamburg, Germany, and currently advises on various buy & build investment strategies in the online marketing and technology-enabled financial services sectors. Daniel joined Waterland in 2017 and has also advised on investments in other industries, including packaging manufacturing and healthcare. Between 2011 and 2017, he was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company in Berlin. Daniel holds a PhD in Engineering (Product Development) from the University of Cambridge in England and studied Industrial Engineering at the Technical University of Berlin.
