Boris Bernstein Bio

Boris Bernstein spearheads Water Street’s proactive work to identify opportunities to invest in healthcare businesses based in Europe. He has specialized in healthcare investments for nearly 20 years, focusing on medical products, including diagnostics and wound care. He also has experience in digital solutions supporting the patient pathway. Prior to joining Water Street, Boris was a partner at MIG Capital in Munich. Previously, he was an investment manager at Allianz Capital Partners in Munich and a vice president at Goldman Sachs International in London. Boris holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and a master’s degree from Georgetown University. He is a chartered financial analyst and the former chairman of the German CFA Society.
