Vishal Mahadevia is a Managing Director, Head of India, Global Co-Head of Financial Services, and a member of the Executive Management group at Warburg Pincus. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus in 2006, he worked with Private Equity Funds, Greenbriar Equity Group, and Three Cities Research. He also worked as a Consultant with McKinsey & Company. Vishal is a Director of IDFC First Bank Limited, Micro Life Sciences Private Limited, and Apollo Tyres Limited. He serves on the International Advisory Board of Center for the Advanced Study of India, the Board of the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum, and the India Regional Board of Room to Read. He received a BS in Economics with a concentration in Finance and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
