James O’Gara Bio

James O’Gara is based in London, joined Warburg Pincus in 2014, and focuses on investments in the financial services sector. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, James was an investment professional at H.I.G. Capital. He is currently a Director of McGill and Partners and the AA, and has also been involved with Warburg Pincus’s investments in Tilney Smith & Williamson, Max, Ionos, Santander Asset Management, Allfunds, and DBRS. He received a BS cum laude in Business Administration from Georgetown University and an MBA with distinction from London Business School.
