Douglas Chey Bio

Douglas Chey is based in New York, joined Warburg Pincus in 2022, and is a Senior Vice President on the Value Creation team. Prior to Warburg Pincus, Douglas was the Chief Portfolio Technology Officer at Leonard Green & Partners and a Committee Member on the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Advisory Committee on Automation on Transportation. Prior to LGP and the USDOT, he was the Senior Vice President of Systems Development for Virgin Hyperloop, and a VP and Fellow for Hewlett-Packard. Additionally, Douglas has held executive positions at many companies including Sony Pictures Entertainment, Cendant Corporation and Lucasfilm. He holds a BA in Economics and a BS in Information Systems from Claremont McKenna College and a MS in Management of Information Systems from Claremont Graduate School.
