Christopher Turner Bio

Christopher H. Turner is a Managing Director and a member of the Fundraising and Investor Relations group where he focuses on strategic co-underwrite partnerships. He joined Warburg Pincus in 2005 to lead the firm’s Capital Markets group, a position he held through 2021. He also served as the firm’s Chief Administrative Officer and head of the US Investment Support (now Value Creation) group from 2013 through 2020. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Christopher was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs. He is a member of the JDRF International Board of Directors, where he serves as Chair of the Finance & Investment Committee, and the Council on Foreign Relations, where he serves on the Committee on Corporate Affairs. He has lectured at Columbia Business School and the Wharton School on Private Equity and Corporate Finance. Christopher received a BS from Cornell University and an MBA in Finance from The Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.
