Sophie Pelz Bio

Ms. Pelz joined WDIP in 2020 and is currently a Director, Head of Investor Relations. Her responsibilities include operations, capital formation, strategy and overseeing WDIP’s Investor Relations’ department. Prior to joining WDIP, Ms. Pelz was an Analyst with Oaktree Capital Management, L.P., a global alternative asset management firm with over $120 billion in assets under management. In this role, she focused on investor relations and marketing initiatives across Oaktree’s four core strategies (Credit, Private Equity, Real Assets and Listed Equities). Before Oaktree Capital, Ms. Pelz was a Financial Analyst at FarWest Entertainment, a media-technology startup, where worked on deal-flow and strategic development. Ms. Pelz holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Minor in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
