Richard Thomson is a Managing Director on the Corporate & Traded Credit team. Based in Minneapolis, he joined the firm in 2016. Prior to joining Värde, Richard was an Associate at Apollo Global Management in the private equity group, and prior to that, was an Analyst at J.P. Morgan in the M&A investment banking group. Richard graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Applied Economics and Management and a focus in Finance.
