Biyuan Zhao Bio

Biyuan Zhao is a Director on the Asset-Based Finance team, focused on sourcing, structuring and executing transactions. Based in New York, she joined the firm in 2021. Prior to joining Värde, Biyuan was an Investment Professional at Atalaya Capital Management and THL Credit. She started her career as an investment banker in the Leverage Finance group at Wells Fargo Securities. Biyuan earned her B.S. in Commerce with concentrations in Finance & Accounting from The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
