Michael Risman Bio

Mike is the Managing Partner at Vitruvian Partners and one of the founders of the firm. He is Co-Chair of the Investment Committee & P&E Committee, and Chair of other principal operational committees of the Firm. Mike has sat on over 20 Boards, including a number of public companies and is primarily focused on Technology investments at Vitruvian. Prior to founding Vitruvian, Mike spent 10 years at Apax Partners where he was a Global Equity Partner and head of Apax’s Information Technology Investment Team in Europe. Previously, he worked for Cap Gemini as a strategy consultant and Jaguar Cars as an engineer. He has an MA in Engineering (Electrical) from Cambridge University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
