Sam Payton Bio

Sam Payton joined Vista Equity Partners in 2015 and is a member of the private equity Flagship team. Mr. Payton currently serves on the boards of Cvent (NASDAQ: CVT), EAB and PlanSource, and works closely with the firm’s investments in Alegeus, Jio and Xactly. He was also actively involved in the firm’s investment in Aspira. Before joining Vista, Mr. Payton worked at Odyssey Investment Partners, where he focused on middle-market buyout investments across a range of sectors. Prior to Odyssey, Mr. Payton worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as an Associate in the Financial Sponsors Group.
