Amaury Fonseca Jr Bio

Prior to founding Vision Brazil, Mr. Amaury was a founding partner and CIO of Capitânia Asset & Risk Management. Previously, he was Managing Director, Head Trader, and Treasurer for Bank of America in Brazil; and Head of Brazilian F/X and Derivatives Market Making and Head of Brazilian Fixed Income at JPMorgan. Mr. Amaury is a member of the Advisory Board of Cedar Bridge Partners, a private equity firm focused on the Middle East and North Africa regions, and holds seats in the Board of Directors of several companies. Mr. Amaury holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a master's degree, both from PUC-RJ, and also a Ph.D. from MIT in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mathematics.
