David Cunningham Bio

Before co-founding VisioCap, David was a partner at Pegasus Capital Advisors, a middle market private equity firm with approximately $2.2 billion in assets. He was also a member of the firm’s executive committee and investment committee. Over his 13 years with the firm, David led acquisitions, oversaw growth, and executed investment realizations across all five of Pegasus’s funds. His primary focus was investments in the consumer products sector. David has served as a member or observer on the board of directors for each of VisioCap’s investment companies, including serving as board chair for BreathableBaby and Wet Noses. In addition, David serves on the board of directors of the JPMA as well as First Candle, where he previously served as board chair for six years, and on the Board of Advisors to the Tufts University Athletics Department.
