Giacomo Rossi Bio

Giacomo is a Partner and a founding member of Vesper Infrastructure Partners. Giacomo was most recently Managing Director and CEO of Snam’s business in the UK, Ireland and North Sea. He has almost 20 years’ experience in the energy, infrastructure and industrials markets. Prior to Snam, Giacomo was responsible for strategic investment opportunities for BP’s EMEA low carbon power and gas trading team (batteries, renewables, geothermal, low carbon power generation); and prior to BP, worked at Carlyle’s flagship international energy platform, Carlyle International Energy Partners, and was responsible for managing c.40% of the $2.5bn fund. Before Carlyle, Giacomo spent seven years in energy and industrial teams at Rothschild & Co and Perella Weinberg Partners. Giacomo holds a BSc Hons in Philosophy and Economics from the London School of Economics.
