Alexander Appel Bio

Alexander Appel is a Principal on the Flagship Private Equity team at Veritas Capital. Prior to Veritas, Alex was a Senior Associate at The Carlyle Group in the firm’s Global Partners Fund. Prior to Carlyle, he worked at Broad Sky Partners where he focused on investments in the media and business services industries. Previously, Alex was an Associate at Avista Capital Partners, where he focused primarily on investments in the healthcare sector, after beginning his career at Lehman Brothers in the M&A Investment Banking Group. Alex holds a B.S., magna cum laude, in Accounting and Business Administration from Washington and Lee University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
