Bjarne Abrahamsen Bio

Bjarne joined Verdane in 2025 as the Chief Operating Officer and is based in the Oslo office. He joined Verdane from his role as co-Chief Operating Officer of Antler where he built the backbone and ran the operations of an investment firm currently spanning 30 locations globally. Previously, he spent about a decade on the trading floor at JPMorgan and SEB, focusing on structuring of financial products and risk management, as well as working for McKinsey in their Risk Management Practice. Bjarne holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Warwick and a Master in Finance from Princeton University.
