Ali Ersöz Bio

Ali joined Verdane in 2024, following his time at the Energy Futures Lab as a Visiting Researcher, where he focused on policies for the UK’s 2035 zero-carbon power system target. Prior to this, Ali was a Principal at Hg where he worked in the large-cap investment team focused on vertical software and technology investments, and also spent time in strategy consulting at OC&C. Ali focuses primarily on existing holdings and new investments across Decarbonisation, and is on the board of ReMatch. Ali holds an MEng & MA in Aerospace & Aerothermal Engineering from the University of Cambridge, and an MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures from Imperial College London.
