Mr. Bureau has responsibility for sourcing, executing and managing investment opportunities. Prior to founding Venquest Capital Partners in 2000, Paul was a Vice President with Banc One Capital Partners, where he structured and negotiated private equity and mezzanine investments and investment banking transactions with privately held, middle market companies. He was also involved in managing the group’s extensive portfolio of investments, including board representation within many companies. Prior to joining Banc One Capital Partners, Paul worked in the Investment Banking Group of Principal Financial Securities, a Dallas-based investment banking firm, where he participated in public equity offerings, private placements and M&A transactions. He is a graduate of Boston College, with degrees in Finance and Management Information Systems. Paul is extensively involved in Venquest’s portfolio companies at both the board and operating level, and served for five years as CFO of Petroplex Acidizing, LP, an oilfield services company acquired by the firm in 2007.
