Tom Smith Bio

Tom is a Principal and joined Vector Capital in 2013. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of CloudSense, MoxiWorks, and Leap Event Technology (fka Patron Technology). Tom was also involved in Vector’s investment in Saba Software, Vesta Corporation and Keap, and the portfolio management and sale processes of Certara, Tidel, and 20-20. Prior to Vector, Tom worked at Greenhill & Co. in New York, advising clients on a number of M&A transactions in the technology, media, real estate, and chemicals sectors. Tom received his MBA from the Harvard Business School. He graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University with a degree in Business Management, specializing in Corporate Strategy.
