Tricia Witty joins Varsity Healthcare Partners with over 25 years of experience in industry operating roles, management consulting and private equity. Most recently, she was a member of the private equity operating team at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, where she led value creation for the consumer and healthcare sectors. In this role she was responsible for supporting deal teams during diligence of new investments as well as working closely with management teams to set strategy and drive key initiatives during the hold period. Prior to entering private equity, Ms. Witty was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company where she led large strategy and operations transformations across industry sectors, including healthcare. Earlier in her career, Ms. Witty developed her operating toolkit within industry roles at a global manufacturing organization. Her work included leading the turnaround of large global accounts as well as co-leading the development and launch of their healthcare business unit. Ms. Witty earned an MBA from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario as well as Master of Science in Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University. She lives in Toronto with her husband and Golden Retriever.
