Jeff Kropp Bio

Jeff Kropp joined Varsity Healthcare Partners as General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Administrative Officer in 2024. Prior to joining Varsity, Mr. Kropp served as General Counsel for The Forest Road Company, an alternative investment firm focused on structured debt and equity investments across a variety of sectors. Before joining Forest Road, Mr. Kropp served as the Assistant General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Levine Leichtman Capital Partners, a global middle-market private equity firm with a 40-year track record of investing, and before that, as Counsel & Director of Compliance at Empyrean Capital Partners, an event-driven multi-strategy hedge fund. Mr. Kropp began his career as a Corporate Associate at Proskauer Rose LLP, where he advised on a wide range of public and private capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters. He holds a JD/MBA from Pepperdine University, and a BS from Florida State University.
