Jared Gardner Bio

Jared joined Valor in 2022 and serves as a Principal on the Investor Relations Team. Prior to Valor, Jared spent over 15 years in the private equity industry combining a broad range of experiences, including as a limited partner, general partner, and placement agent. Most recently, Jared was a Managing Director at Trailmark, a boutique private fund placement agent. At Trailmark, Jared led the firm's distribution efforts for the U.S. Northeast, as well as Eastern Canada, and was a senior member of Trailmark’s Business Development Team. Prior to Trailmark, Jared was a Vice President at MVision Private Equity Advisers, a private fund placement agent, where he focused on deal coordination, investor distribution, and deal execution. Jared also worked at First Reserve, a global energy private equity firm, focusing on the firm’s fundraising and marketing efforts, and began his career at Cambridge Associates, where he was a member of the Research Analytics Group. Jared received a B.S. in Finance from Bryant University and is a CFA Charterholder.
