Claire Soukup Bio

Claire joined Valor in 2023 and serves as a Vice President on the Finance Team. Prior to joining Valor, Claire was a Controller at David Capital Partners, a long-term oriented alternative investment firm headquartered in Chicago, where she helped oversee mid-office, back-office and compliance functions. Prior to David Capital, Claire worked in public accounting for Ernst & Young in its Chicago, San Francisco, and London offices serving asset managers, including hedge funds, fund of funds, private equity funds, venture capital funds, and management companies. Claire earned a B.S in Accounting from Miami University and an M.A. in Accounting from Bowling Green State University. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Illinois.
