Giovanni J. Ford is a distinguished financial expert with over 25 years of experience delivering customized investment and credit solutions to high net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional clients. His career encompasses significant roles in major financial institutions and notable achievements in various sectors of the financial services industry. Mr. Ford dedicated over a decade of his career to Wells Fargo, where he demonstrated exceptional acumen in managing and investing substantial funds. He successfully invested $2 billion in fixed-income securities for leading technology and pharmaceutical companies throughout California. Additionally, as an IPO Specialist, he collaborated with boutique investment banks to facilitate public offerings. In 1995, Mr. Ford was entrusted with the critical task of establishing Wells Capital Management’s presence in the New York, Chicago, and Boston markets. Under his leadership, the firm secured key mandates from large pension plans and foundations, including successfully directing $440 million in pension assets to Wells Capital Management’s R2000 growth strategy. Mr. Ford’s extensive network includes deep-rooted relationships with pension plans, municipalities, high-net-worth individuals, and investment consulting firms across the United States and Europe. His expertise also extends to real estate, where he has underwritten, financed, developed, and managed diverse properties. While working with a major developer in San Francisco, he managed 3,200 rental units and underwrote mixed-use, commercial, and multi-family properties. Since 2010, Mr. Ford has been actively involved in Private Equity, with a focus on green technology, mental health, and real estate development. He continues to provide strategic advice on asset allocation to high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and pension plans. Throughout his career, he has completed over $2 billion in transactions for high-net-worth and institutional clients. Mr. Ford holds a B.A. in Communication and Media Studies from Santa Clara University and an M.B.A. from Luiss Guido Carli University. Further enhancing his expertise, he earned a diploma in Real Estate Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
