Peter Mcguire Bio

Peter is a co-founder of Union Park Capital. Prior to Union Park, he spent four years at Battery Ventures where he was a Vice President, and was Morgan’s right-hand man in the Industrial Technology practice. A seasoned investment professional in his own right, Peter led the thesis development and formation of each Union Park family of companies. Peter is a member of Union Park’s investment committee and ​serves on the Board of each of Union Park's portfolio companies. Prior to Battery, he was with Wachovia Securities in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications Group, where he worked on debt and equity offerings, M&A and LBOs. In total, he has direct experience in all aspects of 45 completed M&A and capital markets transactions. Peter holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and an MS in Accounting and a BA in Finance from Michigan State University. Peter is married and lives in downtown Boston with his wife and three children.
