Evan Stein Bio

Evan Stein is a Partner at Union Park Capital. Evan joined the firm in 2016 and is focused on leading new later-stage and buyout investments in industrial technology markets. Evan is actively involved with, and currently on the boards of KPM Analytics, Process Insights, Advanced Environmental Monitoring, Exaktera, Spheros and CFS Technologies helping to pursue organic and inorganic growth strategies. He has worked on more than 25 industrial technology acquisitions over his career and has extensive experience working with businesses across the U.S. and Europe. Evan's capabilities span the entire deal process from deal origination and execution to post-closing portfolio management. Prior to Union Park Capital, Evan was an investor at Battery Ventures where he sourced, evaluated, and executed middle-market buyout transactions across the industrial technology and industrial software sectors. Early in his career, Evan held positions with Piper Jaffray and Boston Consulting Group. Evan graduated from Northeastern’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business with a BS in business administration with a concentration in finance. Evan lives in Boston, MA with his wife and two children.
