William Clegg has over 13 years of experience in private equity. Before joining Ufenau Capital Partners, William Clegg gained private equity experience at Lazard’s Private Capital Advisory Group in London and New York, where he worked with multiple European and North American LMM/MM private equity firms. Following this, in 2017, William co-founded the Moelis & Co. EMEA Private Capital Advisory Group, where he was responsible for the coverage of institutional LPs through the U.K., Europe and the Middle East. Before joining Ufenau, William set-up an independent boutique placement agent, Colmar Capital, specialised in primary capital raising and secondary advisory transactions on a global basis. William Clegg holds a Bachelor’s of Science (Hons) degree in Economics from the University of Bristol.
