Timothy Schifer Bio

Tim Schifer is a Managing Director at Twin Brook Capital Partners, providing managerial oversight of the firm’s loan portfolio as well as its special situations accounts. Prior to joining Twin Brook in 2017, Tim was previously with Madison Capital Funding for over 14 years, LaSalle Bank (now Bank of America), and Mercantile Bank (now U.S. Bank). His broad experience providing leveraged financing to the private equity market includes underwriting, structuring, and closing transactions, portfolio management, deal team leader, and new business origination and sponsor relationship management. He is also a former active duty U.S. Air Force Captain and holds a B.S. degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy and an M.B.A. from the University of Wyoming.
