Abel Osorio Bio

Abel is a Partner and Investment Committee member of Turnspire Capital Partners. He is responsible for overseeing all elements of the firm’s investment activities and setting firm-wide strategy. Abel is a private equity and special situations investor with almost 20 years of investing experience. Prior to joining Turnspire in 2016, Abel co-founded Montserrat Capital Management, a value-oriented investment partnership focused on event-driven and special situations opportunities. Previously, Abel was a Vice President at Battery Ventures, sourcing, structuring, and leading the execution of leveraged buyouts in North America and Europe, with a focus on the industrial and technology sectors. Abel started his private equity career as an Associate at H.I.G. Capital after spending several years as an investment banker at Thomas Weisel Partners.
