Nick Clearwater Bio

Nick joined True Wind in 2025. In his role as Vice President, Nick specializes in sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities and partnering with founders and the management teams at portfolio companies to accelerate growth through organic and inorganic vectors. Nick believes it is essential to have the courage to back bold ideas and visionary founders, but equally important to stay grounded in fundamentals—deep diligence, a focus on sustainable growth, and an unwavering commitment to value creation. Nick has 8+ years’ experience in investing in multiple business software markets, including payments, banking, government, supply chain, manufacturing, aerospace and defense, transportation/logistics, insurance, and eCommerce. Prior to joining True Wind, Nick was a technology investor at Accel-KKR. Before that, he was a management consultant at Monitor Deloitte. Nick earned a B.A. from Brigham Young University.
