Hunter is a Managing Director at Trive Capital. His responsibilities include identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, performing transaction due diligence, and working with management teams to implement operational and growth strategies. Prior to joining Trive, Hunter was a Vice President at Blue Sage Capital, a lower middle market private equity firm. While at Blue Sage, Hunter was involved in sourcing, executing and monitoring investments across the business services and manufacturing verticals. Previously, Hunter served in an operating role with High Brew Coffee, where he led the company’s finance group and served as a member of the Executive Team. Hunter began his career as an Analyst in J.P. Morgan’s Investment Banking Division where was involved in mergers and acquisitions and capital market activities within the consumer and retail industries. Hunter received both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Accounting from the University of Texas, where he graduated with honors.
