Joao Picoto Bio

Joao Picoto is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Serlima, the soft facility management company acquired by TriSpan in September 2024. He previously served as Business Development Director EMEA at Boston Scientific, a global leader in MedTech, a role he held from 2015 to 2024. From 2008 to 2014, he was Chief Executive Officer of Gascan, a nationwide gas distributor in Portugal owned by Explorer Investments PE. Prior to that, between 2004 and 2007, he served as Chief Operating Officer of GPS – Grupo Português Saúde, a private healthcare provider in Portugal. Earlier in his career, Joao worked as a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company from 1999 to 2003. He holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD, where he was named to the Dean’s List in 2001.
