Ali Khanbhai Bio

Ali has been working in private equity and investment banking for 17 years - sourcing, evaluating, executing, and overseeing investments in the broader consumer, business services, and education sectors. He currently serves as a board director of Universal Lacrosse and RED Driving School. ​​ Prior to Trimountain, Ali was a Partner and Co-Head of the European Lead Investments Team at Quilvest Private Equity, the private equity arm of Quilvest, a leading global independent wealth manager and private equity investor. Based in London, Ali was a member of Quilvest's European and US Investment committees. ​​ Prior to Quilvest, Ali was a member of the Buyouts Deal Team in the New York office of American Capital, a leading middle market private equity firm. Ali started his career as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch. ​​ Ali has served on the board of several companies, including YO! Sushi (fast-casual restaurant chain) and Tortilla (quick-service restaurant chain). ​​ Ali has an MBA from Harvard Business School and an AB from Harvard College. He is fluent in English, French, and Spanish.
