Erlendur Magnusson Bio

A founding partner of Total Capital Partners, Erlendur has over three decades of experience of debt and equity investing, leveraged finance and corporate banking. Previously, he worked at Scandinavian Bank, Nomura and Glitnir Bank, where he led the establishment and growth of the leveraged finance, mezzanine finance and integrated finance teams in Europe. Erlendur has also worked in industry, having spent five years in international shipping, and has also worked in inter-cultural education. He has held a number of non-executive directorships of companies, public bodies and non-profit organisations. Erlendur holds an MSc (Econ) in International Relations from The London School of Economics & Political Science.
