Pablo Velez Bio

Pablo joined Three Hills as a Partner in April 2022 and is an Investment Advisory Committee Member of both the Capital Solutions and Impact strategies. Prior to joining the firm, Pablo was a Managing Director within the European Principal Group at Oaktree Capital Management where he lead deals in which over €1 billion of LP funds were invested from both the private equity funds and the direct lending funds. Earlier in his career, he worked in the Lehman Brothers Merchant Banking Group and its successor fund investing in Europe. Before that, he was based in New York and invested in Latin America while at DB Capital Partners, the private equity arm of Deutsche Bank. Pablo is an Industrial Engineer from Universidad de los Andes in Colombia and holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He is fluent in Spanish.
