Ricardo has 20 years of professional experience in private equity and in strategy consulting. Prior to joining THI Investments, Ricardo was Head of Private Equity Germany at Tikehau Capital launching Tikehau’s Private Equity activities in Germany. Previously, Ricardo was a Partner at Silverfleet Capital, a pan-European Private Equity Fund, where he build-up the firm’s lower mid-market investment activities in Western Europe, with a focus on the DACH region. Before that, Ricardo was a private equity professional at Quadriga Capital and at Syntegra Capital, a pan-European PE Fund. Ricardo started his career at Boston Consulting Group, focusing on projects in private equity and industrial goods. Over his investment career Ricardo invested in several mid-market companies in Western-Europe in Education, Industrial Goods, Technology and IT/Software as well as Energy Transition/Impact Investing. He has successfully supported founders and management teams in their growth and buy-and-build strategies. Ricardo has a degree in mechanical engineering and management from the Technical University of Berlin and an MBA from INSEAD (Singapore/Fontainebleau). He also studied business at the University of Texas at Austin. Ricardo decided to join THI inspired by the family office’s strong values combined with a growing pan-European investment platform and a highly professional team. When not at work Ricardo enjoys cycling and kitesurfing, spending time with his 2 young kids and grilling with family and friends.
