Stephen H. Wise is a Managing Director and Head of Global Healthcare. He is based in New York. Since joining Carlyle in 2006, Mr. Wise has led or been a key contributor to several Carlyle investments including Albany Molecular Research, Inc., CorroHealth, MedRisk HoldCo, LLC, MultiPlan, Inc., Millicent Pharma Limited, Ortho Clinical Diagnostic, Pharmaceutical Product Development, Inc., Rede D’Or São Luiz S.A., TriNetX, LLC and WellDyneRx, LLC. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Wise worked with JLL Partners, a New York-based private equity firm, where he focused on healthcare-related investments. Previously, he worked with J.W. Childs Associates, a Boston-based private equity firm, and prior to that, in the leveraged finance group of Credit Suisse. Mr. Wise serves as a director on the boards of Albany Molecular Research, Inc., CorroHealth, MedRisk HoldCo, LLC, Millicent Pharma Limited, Ortho Clinical Diagnostic, Pharmaceutical Product Development, Inc., Rede D’Or São Luiz S.A., TriNetX, LLC and WellDyneRx, LLC. Mr. Wise also serves on the Leadership Council of the Harvard School of Public Health. Mr. Wise received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in economics and finance from Bucknell University.
