Richard Hoskins Bio

Richard Hoskins is a Managing Director focused on infrastructure opportunities globally. He is based in Washington, DC. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Hoskins held various roles at Hastings Funds Management, a leading global infrastructure fund manager, including Fund Head, Chair of their Investment Committee, Head of Unlisted Infrastructure and Head of Global Asset Management. He was a Director of many portfolio companies including Perth Airport, TransGrid (an electricity transmission company), Southwest Generation (a US IPP), and SH130 Concession Company (a Texas toll road). Prior to Hastings, Mr. Hoskins was a Partner in the leading law firm, Mallesons Stephen Jaques (now King & Wood Mallesons). Mr. Hoskins received a bachelor of laws (Hons) and bachelor of commerce at University of Melbourne and is a Fellow of the Vincent Fairfax Ethical Leadership Foundation.
