Katherine Barasch Bio

Katherine Barasch is a Vice President focused on U.S. buyout opportunities in the industrials and transportation sectors. She is based in Washington, DC. Since joining Carlyle in 2012, she has been actively involved with the firm's prior investments in HD Supply and Veyance (sold to Continental), as well as the firm’s current investment in ADT Korea. Prior to joining Carlyle, she was an Analyst in J.P. Morgan's Mergers & Acquisitions Group. Ms. Barasch received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS, summa cum laude, from Georgetown University.​
