Charles Villet Bio

Charles Villet is an Director focusing on buyout and growth capital investment opportunities in the European TMT, Business Services and Healthcare sectors. He is based in London. Since joining Carlyle, Mr Villet has been actively involved with Carlyle’s investment in current portfolio companies Marle, Metrologic, Companeo, The Sniffers, Expereo, Evernex, Prima Solutions and LPG. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr Villet was an Investment Manager with the Strategic Investment Fund (FSI), a €20bn sovereign investment fund jointly run by the French Government and the state bank Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations. Prior to the FSI, Mr Villet worked for UBS Investment Bank in M&A, in London and in Paris. Mr Villet received a Master's Degree in finance from the ESSEC Business School in Paris.
