William Renahan Bio

William Renahan is a Managing Director in the Legal and Compliance Department and serves as the Chief Compliance Officer of Blackstone’s Registered Funds. Prior to joining Blackstone, Mr. Renahan was a Senior Managing Director at Duff & Phelps Investment Management and served as Chief Compliance Officer of its investment adviser and affiliated registered investment companies. He graduated with a B.A. from Hobart College, a J.D. with honors from Albany Law School, and a Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in New York State and holds Series 7 and 24 FINRA licenses.
