Jonathan Halliwell is a Managing Director in the Legal & Compliance Group. Prior to joining Blackstone, Mr. Halliwell held the position of Counsel at the law firm Clifford Chance, where he focused on private equity and cross-border M&A transactions. Mr. Halliwell has worked in Sydney, London and Hong Kong. Mr. Halliwell received a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney and is admitted as a solicitor in New South Wales, Australia.
