John Finley Bio

John G. Finley is the firm’s Chief Legal Officer and is a member of the firm’s Management Committee. Before joining Blackstone in 2010, Mr. Finley was a partner at the law firm of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, where he co-headed the global mergers and acquisitions group. Mr. Finley has a BS in Economics, summa cum laude, from The Wharton School, a BA summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and a JD cum laude from the Harvard Law School.
