Alex Western Bio

Alex is the Founder and CEO of TCP, where he leads the firm's investment activity and serves on the boards of TCP's portfolio companies. Previously, Alex founded, built, and led the Proprietary Deal Team to lead lower mid-market buyouts at ESW Capital, a leading software private equity firm. Before ESW, Alex was an investment analyst at GMT Capital, a $5B value-oriented hedge fund. Alex began his career as a consultant with McKinsey & Co. and as a private equity associate with Audax Group. Alex received his AB from Harvard College and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
