Blair Thompson Bio

Blair joined TDR Capital in April 2006. He is the General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer of TDR. Prior to joining TDR, Blair was a Partner at SJ Berwin LLP, focusing on private equity fund formation, venture capital investments, and mergers and acquisitions. Previously he worked as a corporate lawyer with Buddle Findlay. Blair qualified as a lawyer in New Zealand in 1995. He has a Bachelor of Law, with honours, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand.
