Steve Cousineau Bio

Steve Cousineau is a Principal and has been part of The Chernin Group since its inception in 2010. In the early days of The Chernin Group, Steve focused on investments, strategy, and corporate development across The Chernin Group’s investment portfolio, the online video-focused Otter Media (sold to AT&T), the film and television production entity Chernin Entertainment (now part of The North Road Company), and the company’s Asia Pacific-focused investment affiliate CA Media. Today, Steve focuses on sourcing, executing, and managing investments across TCG’s consumer investment portfolio. Prior to joining The Chernin Group, Steve spent three years at United Talent Agency, first in the mailroom and then as part of the agency’s TV lit department. He currently serves on the board of directors of MeatEater, Cars & Bids, Exploding Kittens, and The Pro’s Closet. Steve was named as one of Hollywood’s New Leaders by Variety Magazine in 2018. Steve is a graduate of MIT and holds B.S. degrees in Mathematics and Management Science.
